Obituary for Anthony J "AJ" Walker

AJ "Anthony" Walker's wings were ready after 27 years of unsupervised stunts and adventures. He made his grand entrance on earth on July 1, 1991 and blessed James W. Walker, Jr. and Michele Graber Walker with the ability to call him their son. With a contagious smile and a zest for life, he embarked on many quests often beating to the beat of his own drum and leaving a trail of happiness, love, an occasional raised eye brow while completing another chapter in his life's book.
He was a gentle giant that became a friend to all he met. His strong back and amazing work ethic and desire to help others allowed him to be there when duty called. Due to his height and strength, he was eager (and often volunteered by others) to help out and always said, "I work for food".
The path AJ traveled was often unmarked but when you followed his big footprints left behind, they would likely lead you his favorite fishing spot, his man cave to save the universe from a zombie apocalypse, discovering the "Zulu" warrior clan, a jedi in training session or a magical vacation with his princess.
Aj was cherished by many but was adored by some. When his final chapter was written, he passed his life torch to ensure his legacy would continue. His circle of life was completed leaving behind is beloved parents, princess and wife, Jessica (Gates) Walker, his adored baby sister Kortni Walker and his lifelong partner in crime Cody Sargent. His parents James W. Walker, Jr (Nadyne), and Michele Graber Walker who gave him his wings to fly, paternal grandma Kora Walker that kept him grounded and taught him to walk by faith, maternal grandma, Rachel Graber, who taught him life’s lessons and numerous mischievous and fun loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
AJ's welcoming committee in heaven and flying instructors included Grandpa Marv Graber, Grandpa James Walker, Sr, Great grandma Edlener James and second cousin Danielle Walker.
AJ filled the world with love, spontaneous fun and stories. His torch has been passed, his work is completed as you continue the next chapter always remember to "follow your heart".
