Edward O. Head

Edward "Ed" Owen Head, 72, of rural Vermillion, SD passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 10, 2023.
Memorial Visitation will be held at Hansen Funeral Home, Vermillion Monday, August 14, 2023 from 10:00-12:00PM

Ed was born on October 10, 1950 in Sioux City, Iowa to Lewis and Mary (Lee) Head. Ed resided in Vermillion, SD with his wife Seana (Young) Head until her passing on February 21, 2010. They had two children, Son; Corey Head and Daughter Mary Seana Caskey.
Ed was passionate about engine repair and spent most of his time fixing and tinkering with engines and vehicles.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Head of Salix, IA; Son, Corey Head and daughter Mary Seana Caskey.
Preceeding him in death were his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Lewis/Mary Head; his wife Seana (Young) Head, and aunt, Sister-Philomena Head.
