Constance Jane Holoch passed away in Sioux Falls, SD on December 17th, 2018 after a 25 year battle with Parkinson's Disease.
Jane Allen was born May 25th, 1952 in Norfolk, NE to G.W. and Louise Allen. Jane attended Creighton, NE Public Schools graduating in 1970. She received her nursing degree from the Bishop Clarkson School of Nursing in 1973. Jane married Allen Holoch on June 29th, 1974; to this union, one daughter and four sons were born. They resided in Omaha, NE until relocating to Vermillion, SD in 1980 to join the Holoch family farm.
Jane spent over a decade working for the Vermillion Public School System until retiring in 2002. Jane was heavily involved in all of her children’s activities including leadership in Cub Scouts and Booster Club. She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter BV, Eastern Star and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church serving as organist for over 20 years.
She is survived by her four sons Ryan (Emily) of Sioux Falls, SD, David (Jennifer) of Overland Park, KS, Eric (Kristin) of Overland Park, KS, Daniel (Anne) of Corcoran, MN, her nine grandchildren Charlie, Emmaline, Dominic, Remi, Annalise, Renner, Ivy, Frankie, and Paul and her siblings Jerry (Mary Ann) Allen and Ann (Richard) Hutchson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Carrie.
She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who will be eternally missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to thank the staff of Dow Rummel Village and Asera Care Hospice for their dedicated service.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 20 at the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Vermillion with a private family burial to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Creighton, NE. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Wednesday, December 19 with a scripture service at 7:00 PM at the Hansen Funeral Home in Vermillion.
