Dennis B Nelson

Dennis B. Nelson, 83, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, November 15, 2021.
Dennis was born April 14, 1938, to Irvie and Vivian Nelson. He graduated from Viborg High School in 1956.
Dennis married Grace Nelson on February 25, 1961, at the United Methodist Church in Hurley. They farmed by Hurley for many years until a tornado destroyed their farmstead. They then moved to his grandparent’s home near Viborg. They farmed together until Graces death in 2013. They did everything together including raising cattle, working the fields, and taking car trips to many places within a two-day location. Dennis enjoyed spending time outside, and especially enjoyed time with his two dogs, Dede, and Jake.
They were blessed with two sons, Arlan of Hurley, and Keith of Viborg. He continued to farm with them.
He is survived by his sons, two brothers: Roger (Pam) Nelson and Warren Nelson, three nieces, 1 nephew, and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved wife Grace, and a sister-in-law Mary Ann Nelson.
