Delores L. "Sally" Sannes (Voudry)

Deloris “Sally“ Sannes, 80, of Vermillion South Dakota passed away Wednesday, April 28 at Sanford Vermillion Hospital. Deloris “Sally “Voudry was born March 9,1941 in Los Angeles California to Clarence and Mae (Delaney) Voudry. She grew up in Vermillion and attended Vermillion public schools. Sally worked for the University of South Dakota until her retirement. She enjoyed going to thrift shores and yard sales always seeking a “good deal”. In her spare time, she enjoyed making hand crafted quilts and taking in the beauty of nature.
Sally was proceeded in death by her parents, several siblings, Son Donald DeYoung, Daughter Jackie Schmaltz and Daughter Carol Williams.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Gene Sannes of Vermillion, SD. A son Terry (Angela) Jensen of Meridian Mississippi, two brothers, Clarence Voudry of Vermillion, SD and Butch Voudry of Council Bluffs, Iowa and a sister Xinnia ( Earnest ) Namminga of Springfield, SD as well as 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.
